Sale Order Invoice from XLS
Upload one Excel file listing sale orders, products and quantities, and get all the invoices created in one go — with the right dates and statuses.
Why it exists
Invoicing hundreds of orders by hand is slow and error-prone. This wizard reads the file, checks every order and product, updates delivered quantities, creates the invoices and tells you exactly what was skipped and why.
What it does
- Bulk invoicing — many sale orders in a single batch
- Several products per order
- Back-dated invoices — set the invoice date during upload
- Quantities updated — delivered and invoiced quantities on each order
- Safe to re-run — skips already-invoiced orders and cancelled deliveries
- Clear error report — see what was created, skipped or rejected
How to use it
- Prepare an .xls or .xlsx file with the columns below (headers must match exactly). Separate several products of one order with
#. - In Sales, open Upload Invoice XLS and choose your file.
- Click Generate Invoices.
- Review the summary of created invoices, errors and skipped orders.
- Find the new invoices under Accounting › Customers › Invoices.
