Why it exists
Teams spend most of the day inside Odoo. This app lets you deliver audio reminders where they already are, using your own recordings or a voice generated from text.
What it does
- Custom sounds — upload your own MP3 files — Adhan, tones, reminders
- Voice from text — generate spoken alerts with Google Text-to-Speech
- Targeted alerts — send to specific users or groups
- Automatic schedule — a scheduled job checks every 15 minutes
- Test button — preview a sound before it goes live
How to use it
- Install the Python library on the server:
pip install gTTS. - Install the app from Apps.
- Open the Islamic Ringtones menu and create an alert from an audio file or from text.
- Choose the users, set the time and use Test Alert to preview it.
