User Display with Access Rights
Show who's logged in right in the Odoo interface, without switching on developer mode — and decide which users get to see it.
Why it exists
On shared screens, kiosks or when support is helping a user remotely, it's easy to lose track of which account is active. A clear name in the interface avoids changes made under the wrong user.
What it does
- Username widget — shows the current user's name in the interface
- No developer mode — works for everyday users
- Access control — choose which users see the display
How to use it
- Install the app.
- Give the access right to the users who should see their name.
- The logged-in user's name now appears in the interface.
